Full Description
One of a kind
A classic, reimagined. The Rarities series might just be Fender’s most daring release yet. Offering everything from exotic tonewoods, to first-class pickups and appointments – the Rarities series aims to gift players with a truly unique musical experience. Every detail has been fine-tuned to provide a feel that hallmarks vintage Fender, with its own distinctive twist. So your performance will ooze with true personal character, whilst delivering that iconic Fender sound.
Strats, Teles, and even a Jazz bass; the Rarities series gives new life to some of the most important instruments in rock ‘n’ roll history. Did we mention that they look stunning, too? Whether it’s a quilted maple top, or a striking, one-of-a-kind finish – each model demands audience attention. So the individuality of your beloved Rarities guitar won’t go unnoticed. Fender are renowned for their masterful innovation of the guitar, and the Rarities series is here to show us that their creativity continues to thrive in the present day.
Vintage tone with modern enhancements
Everyone knows the distinctive sound of a classic Strat. But, with the Rarities series, the iconic vintage tone is reimagined for the modern day. Equipped with a pair of Pure ’65 Gray-Bottom single-coils in the neck and middle position, you can recreate the powerful mid-‘60s rock ‘n’ roll tones that defined the era. With period-correct design to the original 60’s Strat, you can count on the vintage Fender flair to shine through each not you play, with exceptional clarity.
But this wouldn’t be a rarity design without something special in the pickups. Which is why Fender have loaded the bridge position with a Double Tap Humbucker. The Stratocaster is hailed for its versatility, and with a humbucker added to the mix, all boundaries are lifted to its sonic potential. Combine the snap and bite from the two single-coils with the hot rock tones of the humbucker, for a unique voice that excels in any genre you wish.
As a final trick, an S-1 switch has been implemented to let you split the coil of the humbucker. What this means, is you’ll be able to produce a dynamic single-coil sound from the humbucker, and create the tones of a traditional ‘60s Stratocaster. More versatility, more possibilities.
Playability like no other
Fender haven’t just broken barriers in sound, but in performance, too. A solid rosewood neck provides the look and feel of truly unique instrument, whilst still maintaining its authentic Fender quality. It’s sculpted into a modern “C” shape, fitting perfectly in the palm of your hand. So, every riff, chord, and solo can be performed with total precision. Layered with a sleek flame maple fretboard, you hands simply glide across the surface, meaning you can play for hours without strain. Trademark Fender feel, with a twist.
Maximum instrument security
An instrument of such individuality needs protecting. Which is why the Fender Rarities Stratocaster comes with a deluxe brown hardshell case. Take your cherished instrument on the road, with the peace of mind that it’ll be in pristine condition every time you play. Preventing scratching, scraping, or any other damage to your guitar - the brown hardshell case makes transporting between venues simple and stress-free. No worries. No panic. Just the excitement of performance, the way it should be.
